Abstract Purpose: This study aimed to examine educational practices including "remote learning" and "remote exercises" during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on "vital sign measurement" and "infection prevention skills" to determine students' self-learning status. Methods: In March 2021, an unadministered questionnaire survey was conducted with 102 first-year students who had taken Basic Nursing Skills Exercises I and II at University A. The survey included the Self-Evaluation Scale of Learning Behaviors in Nursing Skills Laboratories, whether self-learning was implemented by stages and units, and the ease of learning in class. Results: Data from 46 students were analyzed (50.0% response rate; 90.2% valid response rate). The mean total score of the Self-Evaluation Scale of Learning Behaviors in Nursing Skills Laboratories (“total score”) was 139.78, and the mean of each subscale score ranged 13.15–17.22. Regarding the relationship between the ease of learning in class and the total score, a correlation was found for 10 of the 18 nursing skills implemented, no correlation was found for vital signs, and a correlation was found for infection prevention. Conclusion: For nursing skills learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, students were generally able to perform self-learning. However, some students did not progress in self-learning, suggesting the need to consider providing additional learning support. It was suggested that some Nursing Skills Learning may be difficult to implement for self-learning.}, pages = {29--41}, title = {COVID-19 パンデミック時の看護技術教育と学生の自己学習状況 -バイタルサイン測定と感染予防の技術に焦点を当てて-}, volume = {15}, year = {2023}, yomi = {オクノ, ユキ and リ, スジョング and タケダ, トモミ and イノ, キョウコ and タキタ, サキエ and テラニシ, ミサエ and タカウエ, サチコ} }
